What a Difference 3 Years Makes!

This is Sydney on her birthday February 21st 2007, here she is February 21st 2010...on her 3rd Birthday!

Wow, how times flies! She is soo much fun, like Kennedy but very different! When Kennedy was this age her speech and vocabulary were amazing! Sydney has a great vocabulary but her speech is, well...different. She misuses her pronouns most of the time, which is in my opinion, one of the cutest deficiencies a 3 year old can have. We love how she says, "Hers" instead of "She", "Yours" instead of "Your", calls Kennedy, "Kennety", calls the escalator "alliskater", gymnastics is Jnastics, oh this list could go on and on! She had a Princess Party, she decided on this theme probably about October. It was a great day with many of her family & good friends here to celebrate the big day!

Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!!!

Valentine Bathing Beauties

What to get for Valentines, Is always the question for me. Well, this year they already had swimsuits out when I went in search of the perfect treats for my sweets...So they got bathing suits, flip flops & Sunglasses! And as you can see they couldn't wait to put them on, even though it was 28 degrees that day! These are my sweet little Valentines all decked out in their new duds. They will be ready when the warm weather hits!

And the Winner Is!

LOVE ROCKS!

We decided her Valentine Box should be a guitar! Kennedy thinks, "Love Rocks", so here it is! Kennedy with our creation & Sydney with her pink guitar! The girls are obsessed with their guitars, so this is very fitting that she picked the idea for her box. I helped her a long with the idea a little and Honey & Pop-Pop built it, then we decorated it. I think it turned out super cute!

Our "Fair" Little Lady!

Kennedy was recognized at a Celebration of Learning during Rise & Shine on Friday. She was chosen by her teacher for Fairness. Each teacher picks two students from her class. Kennedy's good friend Maddie Bethel happened to be the other student in her class chosen. Mrs. Neer is right on the money, these girls are fair in everything they do! We love them both tons!

Finally!

She finally lost that tooth! Kennedy has been wiggling on this tooth for about a month now. On Monday it was finally loose enough she pulled it herself! The tooth fairy came that night, leaving behind fairy dust, which Syd was sure someone was going to be mad that she left a mess, and Kennedy got 5$ for that "pearl" of a tooth! I say /'Pearl" because Sydney asked, What's the tooth fairy gonna do with Kennedy's tooth? I didn't have an answer, but Honey saved the day with an answer, "She makes Pearl necklaces"! Wow, it just seems like those teeth were coming in, now we are already loosing them! And yes...her permanent tooth is coming in behind those baby teeth! We have started our orthodontic fund!

Snow Days!

We went to bed Friday night and woke up to this..... We got 7 inches of snow!

We played in it hard for two whole days! We started off in our yard, then we headed to the farm where we did some sledding on trash can lids on a pond bank and 4-wheeling, then we spent Sunday at Honey & Pop-Pop's with our good friends the Bethels! Oh what fun it was! Maybe we will get some more snow....NEXT YEAR!

Playing Catch Up

Cookies & Pepsi for Santa!

I'm a little behind and have a whole bunch more pictures of Christmas but these are a few of my favorites. I love pictures of kids in their Christmas PJ's on Christmas Eve, so here are my girls in theirs. Kennedy & Sydney got soo many fun gifts I don't think I can list them all, even though I pick them up from all over my house daily. Here they are with their American girls dolls, they received from Santa. Kennedy got Felicity and Sydney got a Bitty Baby. If you haven't ever gotten a girl in your life one of these...they are soo worth the money! They love them and soo do I!
